What is the purpose of the Black Health Network?

The purpose of the BHN is to create a culture and environment for Black-led and community-based organizations across California that facilitates greater connectivity and collaboration and supports power and capacity building for community-based organizations. It is a virtual community that promotes shared learning, best practices, and knowledge building; provides information, tools, technical support, and resources to enhance organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and capacity building; and facilitates access to opportunities that cultivate greater health and wealth of community-based organizations.


Is the Black Health Network only for African Americans and Black Immigrants?

The Black Health Network is not exclusively for African Americans and Black Immigrants. This collaborative community is for organizations and individuals that are committed to improving the health and well-being of Black Californians.

How much is membership?

Membership fees range from free to $50 for individuals and tiered amounts for organizational and corporate memberships.

How do I connect with other members?

The Black Health Network provides an opportunity for members to search and find peers and other professionals in their geographic area or industry on the Networking homepage.
